Snyder's Side: Article 2

Spending way too much time in front of the computer!

While I've been waiting for a file to download on my stone-age, dial-up connection I started looking around to see what was out there on the Internet.  Hey, at a whopping 3.9Kbit speed it took over a hour to get it done!  You can find anything on there, it's truly a treasure trove of information -- but the old phrase about "one man's trash is another man's treasure " can sure apply there; I mean, here.  Heck, some probably find what I've put on here in that "trash" category.

In early November I had knee surgery that took me out of my very active routine for nearly three weeks.  I have come to realize that I need to spend less time on this computer and a lot more time out in the world.  I'm not alone in that area -- how do people that post blogs on (what seems) an hourly basis do anything else?  While you'll see I did post a lot of stuff in late November it was because I was unable to do much of anything else.  Maybe they're far more organized than me, maybe they don't have as many activities that keep them as busy as I do, maybe I just try to do too much.  I like to have a lot of projects going on all at once, and sometimes they seem to accumulate -- like multiple vehicles that break down at the same time (living that right now).  My multiple projects mean I never get bored; if I tire of working on one, I switch to another.  Sometimes that means a little time on this keyboard -- but not to the extremes I've seen online.

I tried the blog thing once -- got two posts in and couldn't find the time to add any more.  You won't see hourly, daily, or even weekly posts here -- I've got way too much to do right now.  Rest assured, if I have the time I'll put a new page in here.  99 percent of you probably have better things to do -- like your own postings.......

Take Care,
KS
